Course Description
Kinematic and dynamic analysis of robot manipulators. Inverse kinematics, motion planning and trajectory generation. Industrial practice in robot servo control. Dynamics and control in the presence of constraints. Actuators and sensors. Force sensors and vision systems. Robotic force control and its applications in industry. Passivity-based control algorithms. Advanced control techniques for motion and force control. Same course as MAE 5433.
Pre-Requisites
4413 or MAE 4053 or consent of instructor
