Enrollment Data
The data for this section was obtained from the website of Institutional Research for Oklahoma State University. More specifically enrollment data was obtained from the Student Profile on the Undergraduate Enrollment by Field of Study, Level, and College page for each respective year. The graphs regarding New Transfer Enrollment information were created using information provided directly by the Institutional Research Department at OSU. Degree information was obtained from the Student Profile on the Degrees Granted by College, Department, and Level page for each respective year. All of the following graphs include moving averages for each year, every two years, and every three years except for the New Transfer Enrollment graphs.

The following graph displays the ratio of lower undergraduate level students transitioning into upper undergraduate level students (Undergraduate Upper (t) / Undergraduate Lower (t-2)) for each year, this is not a moving average graph. This relationship shows that the majority of all lower undergraduate students are transitioning into the upper undergraduate level. The results indicate that there could be transfer students coming into the program at the upper undergraduate level due to the ratio being greater than one, or perhaps the lower undergraduate numbers include undeclared students which could also cause the ratio to be greater than one.

The second ratio of Degrees (t) / Undergraduate Upper (t) serves as an indicator as to what percentage of upper undergraduate students are actually getting their degree each year, this is not a moving average graph.

The following graph portrays the number of students enrolled in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program from 2000 to 2005.

The graph below shows retention/graduation rates for ECEN undergraduate students.

The following graphs reflect the distribution of fulltime students across the number of semesters that they were enrolled prior to graduation.

The following graph and table represent the number of ECEN students enrolled in each area of specialization.
