OSU Transfer Admissions Requirements

A transfer student is one who has earned a minimum of 7 semester hours of college-level credit after graduation from high school.  If you have earned less than 7 hours, please refer to the admission requirements for freshmen

Academics Requirements:

7-23 hours of college-level credit attempted:

Oklahoma residents:  must satisfy all freshman admission requirements listed above (both performance and curricular requirements) and the retention standards listed below

Non-residents:  must satisfy all freshman admission requirements and a have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.70 in all college work attempted.

24 or more hours of college level credit attempted:

Applying students must meet high school curricular requirements from the freshman admission requirements and have a 2.70 overall cumulative grade point average.

Note:  If your cumulative grade point average is slightly below the standards listed above you may qualify for admission on probation.  Contact the office of Admissions for details.
